- and one children’s size XS for age 10+
See and breathe underwater as easily as you would on land
The main obstacle to snorkelling is the difficulty in breathing underwater with a snorkel. Indeed, breathing through your mouth is unnatural, and the snorkel mouthpiece is sometimes considered too intrusive, uncomfortable and unhygienic. That’s why Tribord invented the Easybreath, the first full-face snorkelling mask, for breathing underwater as easily and naturally as you would on land with your nose and mouth. Thanks to its large size, this innovative mask also offers users an unobstructed 180° field of vision, and s prevented from fogging up by a double air-flow system that is identical to the system used in domestic extraction fans.
The Easybreath snorkeling masks have a soft rim that goes around the edge of your face, no more uggly pressure marks from wearing the mask. They have soft elastic straps going over the back of your face in an X-shape, no more rubber squashing your ears.
Everything will look so clear and bright you will be amazed. More information on the Easybreath Snorkeling Masks is here.
The Easybreath Mask is great for surface snorkeling but if you want to go down further (freedive) it has more buyoncy than the traditional masks and equalization is also harder, that is why we added a normal mask and snorkel to the set as well.
Cressi Snorkel Gear Rental
The fins and traditional masks are from Cressi and have received excellent reviews. Here is what Salty Dog had to say
Cressi Palau Snorkeling Fin
“These might be short fins, but in this case size doesn’t really matter. They are built with a soft blade and when combined with the foot pocket, are incredibly easy to take on and off. These fins can even be worn over some thin footwear if you prefer and the ring strap allows for a reversal in case it is needed. Most importantly, these are the best swim fins because they allow for a lot of power and their patent manufacturing technology gives the actual fins a lot of extra strength.”
Cressi Palau Mask Snorkel Set
“It offers users a dry snorkel and a two-window mask with a silicone skirt. The anti-splash end of the snorkel seals the tube for diving and the ergonomics of the set will make it a comfortable fit for most people. The skirt edge is highly adaptable and the small inner volume of the mask helps it to prevent fog or condensation from developing. Strong buckles keep everything secure and you even receive a carry mesh bag to keep everything secure as you travel.”
SUP and Snorkel the perfect combo
Just strap the masks and fins to your SUP and you are ready to go and explore the snorkeling spots that are further out. The paddle out is easier than the swim, you will mostly use your arms and upper bodies and save the energy in your legs for the actual snorkel. The leash will keep the board attached to you and you can also use it to tie up the board e.g. on a free mooring ball.
