Lucy is currently back in Europe. She participated in the Surf and Style European Champs on a giant artificial wave that was built at Munich Airport, right in the middle between Terminal 1 and 2. In fact, she went for a quick surf right after landing, which felt great after almost 30 hours of travel.

She was then reunited with her beloved campervan, a 28 year old miracle of German technology that fired right up after being parked since October 2014. She gave it a nice clean and polish and is now mostly living in it for the upcoming adventures. She is giving paddleboard lessons in beautiful Bavaria, Germany which is seeing a record summer which is very warm and sunny with crazy demand for paddleboard lessons and testing out the new 2016 Fanatic SUP Range, which is awesome, expect some great new boards on St. John for next season!

Next weekend she will attend a 3 day workshop near Cologne to get and additional certification as SUP Yoga Instructor and from there head to Holland to once more participate in theĀ SUP Eleven City tour, the worlds longest and hardest SUP Race. It will be her forth time paddling through beautiful but cold, rainy and stormy Friesland, passing sheep, sheep, sheep, grass, grass, grass and windmills, windmills, windmills. The route leads through 11 picturesque small towns in each you have to ring a bell and collect a stamp.
